Some Basic RHI facts
The Renewable Heat Incentive launched 9th April 2014
The Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) is a grant scheme targeted at renewable heating systems, essentially to make your home greener and environmentally friendly and stop using fossil fuels. Biomass boilers, solar thermal, ground, water-source and air source heat pumps. The RHI is centrally funded and payments are made by OFGEM on a quarterly basis.
Unlike the Non-domestic RHI the customer applies for the payments and therefore it is important to be clear of all the facts.
